SMP, or Survival Multiplayer, is the oldest Premium server. It joined the community on September 10, 2010 and is the fifth and so far final server added to the community. The basic idea of the server is to defend yourself against players, mobs, and the wilderness. You can not stay alive forever. SMP's general focus is on survival, Player vs. Player, towns, and the economy. Players must defend themselves from mobs and players in order to keep their home, life, or town. Anything can happen once you leave the spawn town; you can be easily killed, stolen from, or overrun. It is not easy. The server is run by GmK and MindCrafty.
History
The SMP server started on August 2010, which was run by JabJabJab. On October 21, 2011, Primordia server was launched. -tbc-
Goal
The goal of the server is simply put: Survive. It may sound easy, but let me assure you it is not. Defending yourself against mobs can get boring, but other players on the server that battle you can offer a challenge. There will always be someone out there lurking in the shadows waiting for you, your items, and possibly your home or town.
