IntroductionArmy of Darkness is a premium variant of the classic Zombie Survival server, which Blocktopia also offers. The objective is, as a survivor, to hide, run, or fend off the hunters for as long as possible against almost seemingly impossible odds. The hunter is selected a few short minutes after the map has been loaded, and has superior damage output and starting kits that allow them to efficiently butcher the remaining survivors. Use your newly found method of fighting back against the hunters on incredible designed maps, both gameplay and aesthetically, and release your inner-parkour.
SurvivorsMain Article: Survivors The survivors objective is to survive in the face of almost certain death. Using a short pocket of time at the start of the map, they can gather what they think will be necessary for their survival, be it food, blocks or weapons. After the build time is up, survivors can no longer break blocks and have to instead fend off of the hunters, whom are at a much superior advantage than the survivors. If you die as a survivor whilst the round is active in any way, be it falling or from the hunters hands, you also join the hunters. If you remain a survivor at the end of the round, you win the round! HuntersMain Article: Hunters The hunters objective is to locate and exterminate all the survivors, of which killing them adds to your own team. To do this you have a vastly superior advantage, including weapons and an increased factor of damage. At the end of the build time a hunter is randomly selected, and can get hunting straight away, even if it means killing your original team building with you. You aren't invulnerable, however, and can be killed by the survivors teamwork. If all survivors are killed, then the hunters will win the round! CommandsMain Article: Commands There are numerous commands for both survivors and hunters which make their lives easier as well. If you need to talk to your team individually, for instance, you can type /team message, or /t message. These commands may be shortcuts for calling out assistance, to pinpointing a target and their exact coordinates as well by holding your mouse over a block near them.
